UP: Woman murdered in Barabanki

Barabanki (UP), June 6 (UNI) A 38-year-old woman was hacked to death by unidentified persons in Ghunghter area of Barabanki district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that Rampal, a resident of Baharpar village, lived with his wife Ramakanti and two children. "On Monday night Rampal and his children went to attend marriage functions and Ramakanti was all alone at the house," they said.
Police sources said that when Rampal and his children returned back around 1 am they found the front door of the house locked. "When the door did not open even after knocking, Rampal along with his children slept on the cot lying in front of the door. When the door did not open till Tuesday morning Rampal scaled the wall, entered the house and found Ramakanti's body lying on the terrace," they said.
