J&K: Road caves in at Ramban's Pernote, dozens of houses develop cracks

Jammu, April 25 (UNI) At least five kilometers of road caved in developing cracks in dozens of houses in the Pernote area on Ramban-Gool Road in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
At least two dozen houses have developed cracks while the families have been shifted to safer places, said an official. He said that the road has been blocked and no vehicles were allowed to ply.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary in a post on X stated that the power supply has got affected while the restoration work for road connectivity is underway.
