Yogi appeals to Kairana traders to return home, assures compensation, security

Shamli, Nov 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed to traders and people who had left Kairana before 2017 to return back and announced to provide compensation and other facilities to them.
He assured security to the returning traders who migrated from Kairana and other nearby places due to threat from other communities. CM Yogi Adityanath also met some Kairana residents who returned after their migration from Kairana in Shamli in 2016.
Yogi Adityanath said that Hindu families were forced to migrate from here. Now the effort of the government is that people should live on the land of their ancestors and carry forward their culture and business.
He said that a detailed report has been sought from the district administration regarding Kairana. The government will also give compensation to the families of the victims.
He also announced that very soon a medical college would be set up in Shamli.
The CM was addressing a public meeting here on Monday after laying the foundation of a PAC battalion costing Rs 250 crores and other developmental projects worth over Rs 400 crores.
The Chief Minister assured the traders that they should be fearless in their homes and carry on their business.
"Your government is now in the state. This is everyone's government and now the rule of law prevails in the state. All the criminals are either inside the jail or have been killed in encounters. The atmosphere of Kairana has become much better than before and the criminals here are surrendering on their own.
"They are aware that now they will not get any protection from government and all their illegal activities have come to a halt. By confiscating the illegal properties of the criminals, now houses are being built for the poor," the CM said.
Adityanath said there will be no hooliganism here. "His government is not providing shelter to the goons in the state. It is good to see that due to the better environment, those who migrated from here have started coming back," he claimed.
He said that the message of establishment of PAC battalion in Kairana is also clear that this is everyone's government, no goonda-mafia can dominate and only rule of law will prevail in the state.
