Sooraj Pancholi's first look from 'Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath' released

Mumbai, Apr 27 (UNI) Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi's look from his upcoming historical epic "Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath" has finally been revealed.
Touted as one of the most awaited period films of the year, "Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath" charts the heroic exploits of an unsung Rajput warrior Veer Hamirji Gohil, who pledges his life to safeguard the sanctity of the revered Somnath Temple against marauding invaders.
In this stirring role, Pancholi embodies the spirit of a gallant Rajput prince. The newly released poster showcases Pancholi in a commanding warrior avatar - sword in hand and eyes set with unwavering resolve, embodying resilience and honour.
Joining him in this grand retelling are Sunil Shetty as the fearless warrior Vegda ji and Vivek Oberoi will be portraying the role of dreaded villain Zafar. Debutant Akanksha Sharma will be seen opposite Pancholi, weaving a delicate thread of romance through this grand tapestry of honour, sacrifice and heritage.
Bankrolled by Kanu Chauhan under the banner of Chauhan Studios and distributed by Panorama Studios, the film is set to enthrall audiences worldwide on May 16.
