Rs 710.25 cr approved for construction of new surgery building in GMCH

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Apr 25 (UNI) A fund of Rs 710.25 crore has been approved for the construction of a new surgery building in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city.
A media statement issued by MLC Satish Chavan on Friday stated that on March 21 he had raised a starred question regarding the construction of a new surgery building in the GMCH and drew the attention of the state assembly House.
Finally, his demand has been met. The construction budget of this new surgery building has received administrative approval and a government decision has been issued in this regard on April 24 by the Medical Education Department.
