Pakistan will be brought to its knees, will never think of committing acts like Pahalgam again: Union Minister Puri

Chandigarh, Apr 26 (UNI) Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday said Pakistan will be brought to its knees so that the neighbouring nation will never again think of committing Pahalgam-like despicable terror acts.
Speaking at a Symposium on 'One Nation One Election (ONOE), Reshaping India’s Electoral Landscape', organsied at Chandigarh University, Minister Puri said: “In 1947, two nations (India and Pakistan) were born from the womb of the same mother. Here we are the fifth largest economy in the world, and the other country is one which believes in using terrorism as an instrument of state policy. While one country (India) is succeeding, the other country is witnessing terminal decline. Previous governments used to only condemn the terror attacks like the one on the Indian Parliament and we used to get back to doing business as usual (with Pakistan). But this time it is different, as we have a decisive Prime Minister in PM Narendra Modi."
"PM Modi in his statement has categorically said that Pakistan will face the consequences of the act of terror. It is for the first time that India has decided to make Pakistan pay through the cancellation of the Indus Waters Treaty which governments in the past never considered as a reciprocal action. A country in decline (Pakistan) will be brought to its knees so they never think of such despicable acts again,” he said.
