ONOE will strengthen democratic system further: Keshav Maurya

Lucknow, Apr 26 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya on Saturday said that one nation-one election (ONOE) will further strengthen the democratic system of the country as it will promote economic savings, administrative efficiency and national unity.
While addressing the seminar on One Nation-One Election organised by the University Nutan Puratan Educational Family in the Malviya Auditorium of Lucknow University, the Deputy CM said, "Due to frequent elections, administrative work gets disrupted and policy decisions get delayed. This problem will be solved by conducting simultaneous elections. There will be a reduction in the expenditure incurred in elections, due to which the savings will be made, which can be used in other development works," he said.
