MP Cong team detained by police over demand for minister's resignation

Bhopal, May 16 (UNI) A team of Congress MLAs staging a protest outside Raj Bhavan demanding the dismissal of Tribal Affairs Minister Vijay Shah was taken into custody by the police on Friday.

Earlier, the delegation led by leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, met Governor Mangubhai Patel and submitted a memorandum demanding the minister's dismissal. After the meeting, the delegation sat on a dharna outside Raj Bhavan, raising slogans in support of their demands.

Truck hits gas cylinder-laden tipper in Punjab
