Glitch in RBI network: Treasury online money transactions affected

Thiruvananthapuram, May 15 (UNI) A glitch in the network of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) caused the non-completion of online transactions made by Treasury Savings Bank (TSB) account holders in Kerala.
Responding to the issue, State Finance Minister KN Balagopal said the RBI has clarified that the non-completion of online transactions in the past few days was due to technical issues in the E-Kuber system under its control.
RBI sources said the failure to credit money in online transfers was due to problems in the security system of E-Kuber, the network that handles RBI transactions.
