AP: Rathnakar arrested for commencing hunger strike against SC categorization

Kakinada, Mar 20(UNI) Mala Mahanadu National President R S Rathnakar was arrested for commencing hunger strike in front of the Collectorate here on Thursday opposing SC categorization.
Braving hot sun, he commenced hunger strike sitting on a mat in front of the collectorate amid slogan shouting against the state government by his supporters.
However the police foiled his hunger strike and moved him to the three town police station. Tension prevailed over his arrest for quite for some time with the Mala Mahanadu workers gathering at the police station and raising slogans demanding his release.
