Kolkata, May 26 (UNI) Tata Steel has recently made a substantial donation of Rs 1,00,73,480 to Tata Medical Centre (TMC) in Kolkata as a token of support and appreciation for their continued efforts to address the needs of cancer patients within and outside India.
The generous contribution was made possible through the auction of the first 4 coils (62 MT) of Cold Rolled Steel produced at Tata Steel's newly commissioned state-of-the-art Cold Rolling Mill complex unit in Kalinganagar, Odisha, according to a media statement here on Friday.
The Cold Rolling Mill was commissioned on February 15, 2023, marking a significant milestone for Tata Steel, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to excellence and its enduring impact on the industry.
