Second chance of life to a mother through Uterine Artery Embolization

Kolkata, Match 9 (UNI) On the occasion of International women’s day, CMRI takes absolute pride on behalf of the entire women's fraternity in celebrating the success and good health of a 27-year-old woman, who was presented to CMRI with severe vaginal bleeding that began almost two months after her first C-section delivery.
Her hemoglobin level dropped significantly due to constant bleeding. She went to her doctor, who recommended a hysterectomy, which required hospitalization and the removal of the entire uterus.
The lady was at her wit's end; on the one hand, she was dealing with the trauma of constant bleeding, and on the other, she had a nursing infant who was only sixty days old and completely dependent on her.
