RSS takes out route march in Hamirpur

Hamirpur (HP), Oct 5(UNI) Hundreds of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteers took out a route march here on Wednesday on Vijayadashami, which is also its foundation day.
Such marches were also taken out at Sujanpur Tira and Nadaun kaswas of the district today.
It was on this day in 1925 that Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar had founded the RSS in Nagpur with a group of five people.
RSS volunteers started their route march from the local Town hall complex and ended it at the same site after passing through parts of the Hamirpur town.
The function was chaired by social activist Dr. Rajnish, Prof. Chandigarh University who lauded the role of RSS in national reconstruction.
Vibhag Sanghchalak, Rajendra Sharma said: "RSS is a social organization working for uniting the people and to make India strong".
He said that the RSS had played yeoman’s role during the crisis and would continue to do the same in future also.
