Goa BJP condemns statement of Congress leaders, says Congress itself is 'headless' in Goa

Panaji, Apr 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Goa on Tuesday countered the claim of Congress over 'absence of governance' in the state saying the party which itself was 'headless' for so many days should not make allegations against others.
Addressing a press a press conference at the party state headquarter in the city, BJP state unit spokesperson Nilesh Cabral said, ''Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Shantaram Naik is talking about headless government in Goa when they themselves are headless. When they do not have president for last so many days, on what basis they are making statement against the Chief Minister?. They should first correct themselves and then make allegations against us.''
He said it was wrong to say that government was not functioning because lot of works were underway and lot of decisions had been taken.
