Delhi develops first Goreya Gram to improve sparrow population in city

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Delhi Government has developed the national capital's first ‘Goreya Gram’ in Garhi Mandu City Forest to increase the population of sparrows in the state.
Delhi Environment, Forests and Wildlife Minister Gopal Rai, visited the Garhi Mandu City Forest in East Delhi on Friday to inspect the city's first Goreya Gram. During his visit, the invited delegates and other people were made aware of the Sparrow bird through Nukkad Natak (street play).
Rai said the primary goal of the newly built habitat is to provide ecological assistance to sparrows
