Woman immolates self with daughter in Hamirpur

Hamirpur (UP), April 15 (UNI) A 28-year-old woman immolated herself with her six-month-old daughter allegedly over family discord in Muskara area of Hamirpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Kiran had a dispute with her husband Uttam Singh in Pahari Dera village in the morning. "When the family members went to farm, Kiran immolated herself with her daughter Aradhya in which they sustained serious burn injuries," they said.
Police sources said that the mother-daughter duo were initially taken to the community health centre from where they were referred to Orai medical college. "Kiran and Aradhya succumbed to their injuries during treatment," they said.
