Voting percentage in Arunachal rises to 74.59 pc

Itanagar, Apr 20 (UNI) Voting percentage in the Arunachal Pradesh polls has increased to 74.59 per cent, as per the latest data available with the Election Commission.
Arunachal Pradesh went to the general elections to elect two Members of the 18th Lok Sabha and 50 MLAs of the 60-Member State Legislative Assembly on Friday.
In the Assembly polls, the Northeastern state registered 76.44 per cent voter turnout, while in the Parliamentary elections, 72.74 per cent votes were polled.
