Velez stumbles to leave title race open in Primera Division of Argentina

Buenos Aires, Nov 12 (UNI) Nicolas Caro scored a second-half equalizer as Deportivo Riestra held top side Velez Sarsfield to a 1-1 home draw in Argentina's Primera Division.
The visitor took the lead just before halftime on Monday when Braian Romero converted from the penalty spot after a Brian Sanchez handball.
Caro put his side on level terms just after the hour by sweeping home a first-time effort from the edge of the six-yard box after Alan Barrionuevo's cross from the left side of the penalty area.
