UP: Youth, girl die, 1 injured in road accident in Barabanki

Barabanki (UP), Apr 18 (UNI) A youth and a girl were killed and another person sustained injuries after being crushed by a truck in Bahraich district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Alok Kumar (28), a resident of Bhogawa in Mainpuri, was to get married with Sandhya (25), a resident of Ambedkar Nagar. "On Friday Alok was going to Ambedkar Nagar via Purvanchal Expressway with his fiancée Sandhya and her younger sister Kajal from Kanpur on a motorcycle," they said.
Police sources said that as they reached near Nera Kabulpur village n the Loni Katra area, Alok attempted to overtake the truck but the motorcycle went out of control, overturned and all the three people came under the truck. "On receiving the information, the relief and rescue team of the expressway rushed the three injured to the community health centre Haidergarh where the doctor declared Alok and Sandhya dead," they said.
