UP to compete with Bengaluru and Hyderabad in technology

Lucknow, Feb 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh will soon be able to compete with Bengaluru and Hyderabad in the field of technology due to large-scale investment in data centre parks and artificial intelligence (AI), state government sources said on Tuesday.
Through ground breaking ceremony (GBC) Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched projects worth more than Rs 90,000 crores in the IT and electronics sector of Uttar Pradesh recently. This constitutes over 8 per cent of the total projects worth Rs 10 lakh crores implemented through the GBC.
Yotta Data Services, under the prestigious Hiranandani Group, is investing Rs 30,000 crore to set up a high-capital data centre park, expected to generate employment for 2,160 individuals. Similarly, STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited is investing Rs 1,850 crore in setting up a data center, creating job opportunities for 160 people.
