UP: Man kills wife, injures brother in Saharanpur

Saharanpur (UP), Feb 27 (UNI) A man shot his pregnant wife dead and injured his brother allegedly over family discord in Mandi area of Saharanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, a police officer said here.
Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Abhimanyu Manglik said that Zeeshan Siddiqui shot his wife Zafra Parveen alias Aliya (30) dead at an ATM in Raiwala area in the morning. "From there Zeeshan reached his home in Vardhman colony and shot his younger brother Rehan, injuring him seriously. Rehan has been referred to PGI Chandigarh in a serious condition," he said.
He said that Zeeshan was having differences with his Aliya due to which she was living with her parents. Zeeshan suspected that Aliya was having an affair with his younger brother Rehan," he said.
