UP Govt turns 15k primary & upper primary schools into English medium

Lucknow, Apr 12 (UNI) In a move to modernise education system in the state, the Uttar Pradesh Government has converted 15,000 primary and upper primary schools into English medium.

The move is part of the many steps taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Government to transform the education system in UP in the last four years and aims at educating English speaking skills to children studying in government schools right since the beginning so that they can compete with missionary and convent school students.
