UP govt to launch Lohia bus service in cities

Lucknow, Jan 16 (UNI) Eyeing 2017 assembly elections, the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh is set to introduce ' Lohia Janata Sewa' mini bus services in the cities of the state.
The new bus service would be introduced in the first phase in those cities which are rapidly expanding to rural areas due to increase in population.
According to officials sources here today, the service, which will start under the name of 'Lohia Janta Sewa' by urban development authority, will have a fleet of 287 buses in the first phase for seven cities of UP, including the state capital Lucknow.
