Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday announced two more candidates for Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh along with four Assembly seats where by-elections are to be held for different reasons.
The party has fielded Shashank Mani Tripathi from the Deoria seat. An MBA, Shashank is the son of former Lieutenant General and two-time MP from Deoria Prakash Mani Tripathi. It may be noted that Ramapati Ram Tripathi, who had served as the President of the Uttar Pradesh unit of BJP, is a sitting MP from Deoria.
In Firozabad the party has named Thakur Vishwadeep Singh as its candidate. Chandra Sen Jadon is the sitting MP.
