Telangana: SCCL CMD asks officials to produce, and transport 2.40 lakh tonnes coal daily

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (UNI) Singareni Collieries Company Limited(SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Balram on Friday asked officials to take steps to produce and transport at least 2.40 lakh tonnes of coal daily in all areas of Singareni.
Balram, who held a special review meeting on the coal production with the company Directors and General Managers of all areas here, asked the officials to ensure the removal of 16 lakh cubic meters of overburden every day to achieve the daily target.
The state-owned mining company had earlier set an annual coal production target of 72 million tonnes.
