Telangana: Panchayat Secretary in ACB net

Hyderabad, May 20 (UNI) The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday caught a panchayat secretary red-handed when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 7000.
Talla Krishna Mohan, Panchayat Secretary, Mutliyampet village of Dotnakonda mandal, Kamareddy district was caught at Nizamsagar X Road, Katnareddy when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 7,000 from the complainant Chetkuri Rajaialt of Brahmanpally village of Tadwai mandal to do official favour-- to process the application for widow pension of complainant's daughter and to furnish the information pertaining to the properties of the in-laws of his daughter, a ACB statement here said.
The Tainted bribe amount of Rs. 7,000 was recovered from the possession of the AO. Fingers of his right hand yielded positive results in the chemical test.
