Shiv Sangram chief demands relief for rain-hit farmers in Beed

Beed, Apr 18 (UNI) Shiv Sangram national president, Dr Jyoti Vinayak Mete, on Thursday demanded that authorities should provide immediate assistance to farmers affected by unseasonal rain in the district.
Due to last week's hailstorm in the district, farmers have suffered huge losses and now, due to unseasonal rains and stormy winds on Wednesday, farmers are in more trouble, she said.
Due to unseasonal rains, farmers have suffered losses not only of crops but also of their animals, trees were uprooted, and some people's houses were also damaged, she said.
