Sharif stresses on importance of Gwadar port for Balochistan's development

Islamabad, Mar 29 (UNI) Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that his government is focusing on the development of the Balochistan province and Gwadar port holds great importance regarding it.

In a meeting with Aslam Bhootani, a lawmaker from Balochistan, Sharif said that the Gwadar district plays a vital role in Balochistan's development because of its being under the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Prime Minister's office said in a statement.
