Seven members of dacoit gang nabbed

Kendrapara, May 20 (UNI) Seven members of a dacoit gang were nabbed by Pattamundai police during patrolling on Chaudakulat-Gogua road in Odisha's Kendrapara district on Thursday evening.
They were arrested while planning to commit a dacoity at a foreign liquor shop.The police personnel seized two motorcycles, one knife, two country-made pistols and other lethal weapons from their possessions, SP of Kendrapara Madkar Sandeep Sampat said on Friday.
All the arrestees were booked in Pattamundai Model police station under Section 399,402 of IPC, 25 Arms Act and later produced before the JMFC court which remanded them to jail custody. UNI XC DP KK SSP
