SCR sets record with 649 Km track renewal in FY 2023-24

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) has achieved a monumental milestone in its history by completing the renewal of 649 kilometers of track across its network during the fiscal year 2023–24, marking its highest-ever performance in this regard.
This accomplishment surpasses the previous fiscal year's progress of 448 kilometers by an impressive 45 percent, a SCR statement said on Friday.
What sets this achievement apart is the complete reliance on mechanized methods for track renewal, eliminating manual processes entirely. This strategic shift has significantly contributed to the scale and efficiency of the renewal efforts.
