Sabalenka dispatches Andreeva in second round at French Open

Paris, May 28 (UNI) Aryna Sabalenka showcased her trademark dominance in the opening rounds of Grand Slams yet again, breezing past Erika Andreeva with a commanding 6-1, 6-2 victory to secure her spot in the second round at the 2024 French Open here on Tuesday.
Sabalenka's prowess was on full display as she swiftly claimed the first set in just over 26 minutes, hardly relinquishing any ground on her own serve and capitalising on crucial breakpoints to assert her authority early in the match.
Despite Andreeva's brief resurgence with a break back in the second set, Sabalenka quickly regained control, maintaining her composure to stifle any hopes of a comeback from her opponent.
