Riteish Deshmukh steps into a villainous role in Raid 2

Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh is set to take on a menacing new avatar in "Raid 2", where he will portray a powerful and cunning antagonist.
The sequel to the 2018 blockbuster "Raid", this high-stakes crime thriller sees Ajay Devgn reprising his role, with Raj Kumar Gupta once again at the helm. Given the success of its predecessor, the sequel is gearing up for a power-packed theatrical release.
A major highlight of the sequel is Riteish Deshmukh's transformation into a formidable villain. He essays the role of Dada Bhai, an influential politician who bends the system to his will, Riteish steps away from his signature comic roles to embrace a more sinister, power-driven persona. His first look from the film has been unleashed, exudes both authority and intimidation.
Ajay Devgn shared the poster on his Instagram, captioning it, "Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai! #Raid2 knocking in cinemas near you from 1st May, 2025, translating to "Dada Bhai doesn't answer the law, he controls it."
The film also stars Vaani Kapoor in a pivotal role. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. The film is set to release theatrically on 1st May 2025. UNI XC SSP
