Hyderabad, Dec 7 (UNI) Soon after being sworn in as Chief Minister at LB Stadium, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy assumed the CM office at BR Ambedkar Telangana state Secretariat here on Thursday on Thursday.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari , DGP Ravi Gupta and other senior officials accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Minister at 4.20 pm in the Secretariat.

After accepting a guard of honour on his arrival at the Secretariat, Revanth Reddy reached the CM office on foot from the main entrance of the Secretariat. Vedic scholars welcomed the CM by offering ‘Purna Kumbaham’ at the entrance of the CM office.
Revanth Reddy and wife Geetha performed puja in the CM office.
The Chief Minister occupied the CM seat at the auspicious time of 4.46 pm. Vedic scholars blessed the CM couple.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jupalli Krishna Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, DGP Ravi Gupta, senior IAS and IPS officers, senior officers of various departments, Secretariat officers and public representatives extended greetings to the chief minister.
Later, a state Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of the chief minister.
