Resentment prevails among senior citizens in HP on denial of booster doses

Dharamshala, Jan 17 (UNI) Resentment prevailed among the senior citizens, who had visited the US last year during the peak of COVID-19 and had received both the dozes of Covid Pfizer vaccine, but were denied booster doses here in India, for want of a defined policy of the Central Government.
A 70-year-old couple from Kangra said they had visited the US in winter last year and had received Covid-19 vaccination doses there.
They said after coming to India, they have been running from pillar to post for a booster dose, without any result.

NCSC stays land eviction in Ludhiana's Bhama Kalan village

Chandigarh, May 18 (UNI) Taking a strong notice against the Punjab Government for issuing eviction orders against the schedule caste people of Bhama Kalan village of Ludhiana district, who are living there since independence, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) Chairman Vijay Sampla issued a notice to the state government on Wednesday and asked them to submit a reply in 15 days.
