Bengaluru, Mar 24 (UNI) The stage is set for a gripping encounter between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings at the Chinnaswamy Stadium tomorrow. RCB's disappointing performance in the IPL 2024 opener against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has left them with much to ponder. The bowlers, in particular, faced a tough time against CSK's batting onslaught, struggling to find their rhythm and execute their plans effectively.
The spin department, comprising Mayank Dagar, Karn Sharma, and Glenn Maxwell, couldn't make significant inroads into the opposition lineup, highlighting the need for a more strategic approach. Additionally, the top-order collapse in the batting lineup exposed RCB's overreliance on lower-order batsmen.
