Punjab Vigilance raids SAD's Majithia house

Amritsar, June 25 (UNI) The Punjab Vigilance Bureau on Wednesday "raided" Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia's house in Amritsar.
The reason for the VB action was not known immediately. However, a video from the scene appeared in social media in which Majitha is seen alleging that they had "barged into" his house and that it was a case of trespassing. One official is seen asking him to co-operate.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party spokesman Neel Garg said the VB raids were conducted under the 'war on drugs' campaign. He said raids were conducted at 25 places across Punjab, including nine places in Amritsar.
