Pune-based social activist demands ban on big hoardings

Pune, Jun 16 (UNI) Expressing serious concern over people losing their lives in tragic incidents such as big hoardings collapse as in Ghatkopar suburb of Mumbai, city-based social activist and journalist Anil Agawane on Sunday demanded that the Maharashtra government should immediately put a ban on such hoardings.
He said that recent incidents of hoarding collapse could have been avoided, but authorities and administrators were not serious about it, he claimed.
