Police crack theft case, accused arrested in J&K’s Budgam

Srinagar, Aug 9 (UNI) Police cracked a theft case within hours of crime and recovered stolen property by arresting the accused in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Police said on Friday that it received a written application from one Abdul Majeed Kumar a resident of Checksara Khanshaib stating that during the intervening night of August 6/7 2024, some unknown persons entered into his shop situated at Check Shaira and have stolen some items and cash.
On the receipt of this complaint, FIR No:142/24 u/s 331,305 BNS was registered at Police Station Khanshaib and the investigation was taken up.
