PM Modi holds bilateral with South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung on G7 sidelines

Kananaskis (Canada)/New Delhi, June 17 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada, during which the two sides discussed new avenues for cooperation in trade & economy, critical & emerging technologies, green hydrogen and shipbuilding.
PM Modi said in a post on X, that the two leaders had a very good meeting.
“President Mr. Lee Jae-myung and I had a very good meeting in Canada. India and the Republic of Korea seek to work together in sectors like commerce, investment, technology, green hydrogen, shipbuilding and more.”
The MEA spokesperson said in a post on X:
“PM @narendramodi met President Mr. Lee Jae-Myung @Jaemyung_Lee
of Republic of Korea on the sidelines of the 51st #G7Summit in Kananaskis, Canada.
“The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the India-South Korea Special Strategic Partnership by exploring new avenues for cooperation through partnerships in areas of trade & economy, critical & emerging technologies, green hydrogen, shipbuilding, culture & P2P among others. They also discussed regional & global issues.”
