Paranjape Schemes to come up with dedicated housing for special children

Pune, Dec 1 ( UNI) Paranjape Schemes, one of the leading real-estate developers from Maharashtra, known for its pioneering and most successful effort in housing for senior citizens, is coming up with yet another path breaking concept, this time with focus on the needs of special children and their parents. ‘Swaniketan’, a first of its kind initiative in India was announced by Paranjape Schemes Managing Director Shashank Paranjape at a press conference on Thursday.
“Children with Autism, Down syndrome, Intellectual Disability and Cerebral Palsy and especially their parents face a lot of difficulties in their daily lives. The parents want their children to be incorporated into the main society. I have seen such parents facing multiple challenges and hence ‘Swaniketan’ concept came up for fulfilling their needs and providing them respite,” said Shashank Paranjape.
Giving details of the project, Shashank Paranjape said, “With a view to have a gated community for special children and their parents in western Pune, we are implementing this futuristic project, which will have 2 and 3 BHK flats”.
