Onkar Kanwar gets Lifetime Achievement Award

Kochi, April 26 (UNI) Chairman of Apollo Tyres Ltd, Onkar Kanwar, has been conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the All India Management Association (AIMA)’s Managing India Awards ceremony.
Onkar Kanwar was recognised for his value-driven business strategy and his able leadership.
''Apollo Tyres, under his guidance, transformed itself from an Indian manufacturer of commercial vehicle tyres to a global entity with a full-fledged product portfolio, spanning 3 continents, a release said.
Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of India, presented the award to Kanwar in the presence of other dignitaries from various sectors.
AIMA’s Managing India Awards aim to recognise the achievers who have made a fundamental difference, creating an edge above peers for others to emulate.
This is a platform to recognise the contributions of these stalwarts from different fields, all outstanding performers, who epitomise strength, ingenuity, knowledge, foresight, who excelled in their respective spheres with vision and inspiration and are worthy of emulation and admiration.
