Nitish advocates multi-pronged strategy for sports, film production

Patna, Dec 1 (UNI) Stressing the need to adopt a multipronged strategy for promoting sports and Film Production, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday instructed the authorities concerned to simplify the process for film producers and asked to provide facilities to the sports personalities in the state.
While reviewing the progress of the art, culture and youth department and Bihar film promotion policy here, Kumar said several initiatives have been taken to develop sports in the state. He said that special awards including cash awards were being given to the sports personalities.
They were also getting appointed to government jobs said Kumar and asked the authorities to provide all possible facilities including training, food and others to the sports persons. Stadiums were being constructed at block levels he said and asked the authorities to properly maintain them.
