India, Luxembourg hold first-ever Foreign Office Consultations, discuss expanding trade links

New Delhi/Luxembourg, Nov 12 (UNI) India and Luxembourg held their first-ever Foreign Office Consultations on Friday during which they discussed on ways to further expand economic links and deepen cooperation in areas including finance, steel, space, innovation, start-ups, among others.
The talks were co-chaired by Reenat Sandhu, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Sylvie Lucas, Secretary General, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg.
The Consultations were institutionalized as an outcome of the bilateral Summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, in November 2020.
