Abuja, April 16 (UNI) At least three suspected key figures and 27 other members of a local terror group were killed in a recent air raid by the Nigerian military in a location along the shores of Lake Chad, the air force said Tuesday.
The raid on Saturday dealt a decisive blow to the camp of the Islamic State's West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters with precision airstrikes on their hideouts in the Kolleram village of the northeastern state of Borno, which shares a border with Chad, said Edward Gabkwet, the spokesman for the Nigerian Air Force, in a statement.
