At least 6 killed in clashes between Sudanese army, paramilitary forces in N Darfur

Khartoum, April 15 (UNI) At least six civilians were killed and 61 others injured in clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in El Fasher, the capital city of North Darfur State, the Sudanese Doctors' Union said.
The injured were still arriving at the hospital despite a shortage of equipment and blood donors, the non-governmental union said in a statement.
The armed forces have not commented on the confrontations in North Darfur State. Since the conflict erupted on April 15, 2023, 14,790 fatalities have been recorded, while the number of people displaced inside and outside of Sudan has reached 8.2 million, a report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs showed on Sunday.
