Maha Congress chief spokesperson demands to cancel candidature of Chandrapur BJP nominee

Mumbai, Apr 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Atul Londhe on Tuesday demanded to cancel candidature of Chandrapur BJP nominee Sudhir Mungantiwar for alleged violation of the model code of conduct and election rules during the election rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Chandrapur on Monday.
In a letter addressed to state chief electoral officer, he complained that Mungantiwar had crossed all limits in a rally organised for PM Modi and referred to his use of provocative language that created enmity between two communities.
He alleged that Mungantiwar used inflammatory language and made insulting remarks against the Congress party and its leaders.
