Maratha reservation: HC to deliver verdict on interim stay on April 10

Mumbai, Mar 12 (UNI) A division bench of Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya and Justice Arif Doctor of the Bombay high court on Tuesday indicated that it would decide on April 10 on issue of granting interim stay on the government’s decision to grant reservation to the Maratha community.
The bench was hearing a bunch of petitions challenging the law passed by the Maharashtra Legislature granting 10 per cent reservation to the Maratha community.
Today, the petitioners sought a stay on implementation of the Act, pending final hearing decision in the petitions.
