Thane reports 102 new Covid-19 cases

Thane, Nov 25 (UNI) Maharashtra's Thane district has recorded 102 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total infection count to 5,68,717, an official said on Thursday.
With two new deaths reported in the past one day, the toll has reached 11578. The mortality rate stands at 2.03 per cent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the Covid-19 case count has gone up to 1,38,517 while the toll stands at 3,295, an official from Palghar said.

Pune, April 24(UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Assam and Meghalaya; at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Uttarakhand, east Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.5°C was reported at Anantapur (Rayalaseema) over the country.
