Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) In terms of total number of voters in 48 Lok Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra, Pune district has the highest number of voters as compared to other districts in the state, said the State Information office on Saturday.
The total number of voters in Pune is 82,82,363. It is closely followed by Mumbai Suburbs with 73,56,596 voters, Thane-65,79,588, Nashik-48,08,499, Nagpur-42,72,366.
While, in four districts of Ratnagiri, Nandurbar, Gondia and Sindhudurg, the number of female voters is higher than male voters.
