Narendra Modi, RSS trying to destroy Constitution, democracy: Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai, April 24 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh of making efforts to"destroy the Constitution and Democracy.
In contrast, the INDIA alliance is "defending democracy and the Constitution".
Addressing election rallies in Amravati and Solapur in Maharashtra, Gandhi said the ongoing Lok Sabha election is crucial for saving democracy and the Constitution. For the first time in the history of the country, a political party is attacking the constitution and working to end it.

Pune, May 6 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated places at a few places over Bihar; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, Telangana, Rayalaseema; at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad. These were markedly below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C); at isolated places over Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 45.1°C was reported at Saraikela (Jharkhand) over the country.
